Private visit of the exhibition « MineralNature » by Arik Levy
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of its summer art events, Château Sainte Roseline is proud to welcome the artist Arik Levy and his exhibition « MineralNature ».
This summer’s exhibition, with his monumental works displayed throughout the site, highlights the broad palette of Arik’s work in terms of the materials used, shapes and colors.
Originally from Israel and arriving in Europe after his first participation in a group sculpture exhibition in Tel Aviv in 1986, Arik Levy set up his studio in Paris in 1992. Artist, technician, photographer, designer, video maker, Arik Levy’s skills are multidisciplinary, and his works are exhibited worldwide. Known to the general public for his sculptures (notably Rock, his emblematic piece), installations, limited editions and his work on design, Arik Levy nevertheless believes that « the world is made of people and not of objects ». The « MineralNature » exhibition at Château Sainte Roseline is the artist’s most important exhibition in Provence this summer. Thirteen original pieces by Arik Levy are installed in the heart of the property and invite visitors to take a fresh look at its centuries-old walls.
