À Vallauris, Pablo Picasso signe la monumentale salle de la Guerre et de la Paix, installée dans l’ancienne chapelle du château.
Réalisées entre 1952 et 1954, ces fresques puissantes incarnent la vision engagée et universelle de Picasso : la chapelle résonne du
